AS Monaco fullback Vanderson de Oliveira Campos remains on the radar of Barcelona.
The former Gremio player, who will turn 22 in June, is already fully aware of the renewed interest of the Blaugrana, who, last August, already made a first attempt to sign him, says Sport.
At that time, Mateu Alemany called Monaco to ask a price for the player at the suggestion of Deco, Joan Laporta’s external adviser, but his club asked for €60 million, which signalled the Ligue 1 side’s refusal to part with a full-back who had been signed only eight months earlier, in January 2022.
Barça have been watching the Brazilian’s progress all season in the principality, in a season of ups and downs in which a knee problem has left the right-back out of action for more than four weeks.
In the next few days, the player’s agents are expected to be present at the Ciutat Esportiva to define what strategy can be taken in case Barça step up their interest.
