LaLiga president Javier Tebas has again stated Barcelona cannot buy big at the end of the season.
Tebas insists Barca’s financial situation means they still cannot splash out big otherwise they’ll breach financial fair play.
A year ago, Tebas said: “I prefer that (Erling) Haaland go to Barça and (Kylian) Mbappé to Madrid”.
And today, he stated to El Chiringuto: “Hopefully that’s the case, but these two players could only be at Real Madrid, because the financial situation of FC Barcelona would not allow them to access this type of player.
“Not this season or the next. I see it as impossible.”
