Barcelona coach Xavi admits he wants to see Ousmane Dembele secured to a new deal.
Dembele has been superb for Barca since the season resumed after the World Cup break.
Xavi said, “He is a fundamental, referential player, different.
“It’s hard to find footballers like him one on one. The club knows it and he knows it. The chip has changed and I hope he will continue with us for many years.
“We try never to injure anyone with exhaustive work, but injuries will pass. but he has changed the chip, he feels loved and is where he wants to be. I am delighted.”
