Barcelona coach Xavi praised matchwinner Ousmane Dembele after their Copa del Rey win against Real Sociedad.
Dembele scored the only goal of the night in the quarterfinal.
Xavi said, “It’s not today. He is a player who has matured a lot since we’ve been here. We also give him tools to bite the space too. The day of my presentation I already said that he is a dagger.
“He is a player with tremendous potential. I believe a lot in him and I think he played an extraordinary game, that everything went well for him. And then all this happens because the decision making is correct. And he is enjoying himself, and the people with him.
“I’m happy for him because he’s a good boy, he’s turned the tables and that’s not easy at Barça. It’s very positive for him.”
