Barcelona coach Xavi is convinced about the quality of their young players.
Xavi rates Pedri and Gavi ahead of him at the same age.
He said today: “We have very young players. Eric, Pedri, Ansu, Gavi… Frenkie is young … we have Barça of present and future.
“Balde, Gavi has played practically everything. Ansu is a talent… Maybe we are asking too much…
“I was twenty years old and Andrés (Iniesta) was twenty years old, we were not at the level that Perdi or Gavi are. Eric Garcia, at 20; Ansu himself… How Gavi competes, the passion he puts…We were not at his level.”
Xavi continued: “Ansu Fati will be more important from now on for us.
“(Alejandro) Balde’s potential is wonderful, he is the wing-back of Barça for the next fifteen years.”
