Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong has reportedly told Erik ten Hag that he is ready to move to Manchester United.
The Dutch midfielder has struggled for game time at club level so far this season.
Barca were hoping to sell De Jong in the summer, but he refused to join United or Chelsea at the time.
Per the Manchester Evening News, De Jong may have changed his tune on the matter.
He has seemingly spoken to Ten Hag in private and told the United coach that he wants to make the move.
However, Barca will want a mega fee for a player of his quality, especially midseason.
In addition, De Jong wants any deal to include a resolution to the wages he believes he is owed by Barca, which he deferred in his contract to help the club during the early days of the pandemic.
