Barcelona coach Xavi is resigned to not being able to buy in January.
Barca president Joan Laporta has informed Xavi there isn’t room in the budget to add to his squad next month.
Even a previous plan of €1 out for €1 in is now off the table as Laporta and his board continue to grapple with their financial problems, says Sport.
As such, Xavi accepts he must work with the squad as it is.
The coach, while frustrated, understands the club’s situation. Xavi believes they’re short of a midfield anchor and a wing-back, but will work with what he has.
