Liverpool have made a pre-contract offer to Jorge Mendes for Real Madrid winger Marco Asensio.
Off contract at Real in June, Asensio has been in talks about a new deal.
The midfielder favours staying in Madrid, though the offer from Liverpool far outstrips what Real are discussing, says Ok Diario.
Asensio is currently in Qatar for the World Cup in Spain and won’t rush any decision.
Along with Liverpool, Asensio is interesting Barcelona, Juventus and Bayern Munich, which have also contacted Mendes.
