Uruguay coach Diego Alonso insists there’s no issues with Barcelona over the selection of Ronald Araujo.
There’s been claims Barca are unhappy with Uruguay selecting Araujo for the World Cup while injured. The defender is carrying a thigh injury.
Araujo wasn’t risked for yesterday’s 0-0 draw with South Korea and Alonso said: “We have not received that communication.
“We have a very good dialogue with Barcelona, we have an agreement with Barcelona, we have respected it and the player continues to evolve.
“It is the only thing I can answer.”
