Athletic Bilbao centre-back Yeray Álvarez says they won’t be intimidated going to Barcelona tomorrow night.
Despite going without a win in their last three fixtures, the Zurigorri are still unbeaten on the road this season, with two wins and two draws. Yeray reiterated that Athletic are more than capable of picking up a win in Barcelona.
“We’re focused on the game,” Yeray said at a press conference in Lezama on Friday afternoon. “We want to show the best version of ourselves and be a team that goes to the Camp Nou to get all three points.
“We’ll go for the win the same as in every match and we’ll look to control the game and take the initiative.
“This weekend will be no different. Our mentality has to be to press, win the ball back, attack and be as intense as possible.”
