Barcelona are favouring a deal for Borussia Dortmund fullback Thomas Meunier ahead of Arsenal‘s Hector Bellerin.
Sport says in the recent hours, Barca chief Jordi Cruyff’s candidate Meunier from Dortmund has been the main interest.
Villarreal defender Juan Foyth‘s injury has stalled the plans for his signing, but the club have not yet ruled out Bellerín.
Bellerin, who was trained at La Masia, is waiting for a call from Barça and would arrive for free, but he has a different profile than what is desired by the sporting management.
Meunier, meanwhile, has not been transfer-listed by BVB, so will take some financial effort to sign.
