Barcelona have activated another lever in their financing project.
Sport says Barca have activated the second financial lever, selling 15 percent of their TV rights to Sixth Street for the next 25 years. The agreement means that 400 million euros will immediately be injected into the club’s coffers.
While the deal could be announced as early as Thursday, an official announcement is expected no later than Friday.
Barcelona previously sold 10 percent of their TV rights to the same American investment firm for around 200 million euros earlier this summer.
This means that Sixth Street will own 25 percent of the Catalan club’s TV rights for the next 25 years.
