Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel admits Cesar Azpilicueta‘s situation remains undecided.
Inside the final year of his deal, the Blues captain wants a return to Spain with Barcelona.
Tuchel said yesterday: “We need central defenders, at least two to replace Andreas (Christensen) and Toni (Rüdiger). We have Azpi (Cesar Azpilicueta) in our team at the moment and we are moving forward with him, but there are ongoing discussions about his personal situation and what we want.
“I think with Thiago (Silva) in the middle, Toni on the left and Azpi or Andreas (on the right), we had the three best defenders in the world.”
