Former Barcelona striker Javier Saviola is in talks to join the La Masia coaching staff.
Relevo says the Argentine is being primed for a coaching role with one of the youth teams at the club’s La Masia academy.
Saviola, who is currently coaching FC Ordino in Andorra, has a great relationship with Barça’s first team coach Xavi Hernandez, who he played alongside at Camp Nou.
The aim is for Saviola to get familiar with how La Masia works.
Now 40, the ex-forward is eager to continue moving forward in his coaching career.
