Southampton defender Mohammed Salisu is ready to talk about an extension to his contract.
According to the Daily Echo, the 23-year-old is happy with life at the Premier League club.
There is interest in Salisu from the likes of Barcelona and Newcastle United.
However, the player believes he still has a lot to learn, and is in the ideal environment to do so.
Salisu and the club hope that can agreement can be reached before he enters the last 12 months of his contract.
He has put in some excellent displays last season, especially in the 1-1 draw against Manchester City in the Premier League.
