Barcelona to face A-League Allstars for bumper fee

Barcelona have announced they will play a friendly against an A-League All Stars team in Sydney, Australia when the current season ends.

The match will be played at the city Stadium, which has a capacity of 80,000, and it will be the first time Barça have visited the country.

Barça will also make money from the friendly, with their trip to Australia worth around €5 million, with Xavi’s side playing in Sydney on May 25, just three days after the LaLiga season ends.

The intention was to play a second friendly while there, potentially against Atletico Madrid, but in the end it will be a short trip.
