Arsenal boss Arteta scoffs at question about Aubameyang

Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has rejected questions about allowing their strikers to leave in January.

Arteta was asked if he has any regrets about letting Aubameyang leave for Barcelona and Balogun join Middlesbrough on-loan.

“I haven’t heard that question in the last six weeks so I have already forgot about that question,” scoffed Arteta.

“When you remind us with those questions its always after a defeat and I don’t like to comment on things like that.”

On responding to defeat to Crystal Palace, he added: “Embrace the challenge. You lost, now you want to win. Its hurting and you are still hurting we lost two big players.

“Important players for us for sure but we cant be crying for that because they aren’t going to be available so we have to find other solutions to be as good and as competitive as before.”
