Borussia Dortmund advisor Matthias Sammer has hinted Erling Haaland will be joining Manchester City this summer.
Haaland has been linked with a move away from Dortmund this summer, with his release clause of£63m activated at that time.
City, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Manchester United are all interested in the 21-year-old Norwegian.
Speaking on Amazon Prime, Dortmund legend Sammer made allusions to Haaland’s next destination.
Co-host Mario Gomez stated initially: “I’m very excited to see how the Guardiola-Haaland combination will work if it comes to that.”
Sammer replied: “They will both benefit from each other. Because Pep, of course – I was able to experience him for three years – has a certain idea. I can also imagine dealing with a centre-forward, no question. But he will also have to learn from the centre-forward.”
