Bundesliga pundit Jan Aage Fjortoft doesn’t believe Borussia Dortmund striker Erling Haaland will join Barcelona.
Fjörtoft, the former player and friend/spokesperson for the Haaland family, has hinted that Haaland is not close to joining Barcelona.
He previously hit out at the reports that Real Madrid wanted him to come in 2023.
“Everything is between two clubs and I think they are Real Madrid and Manchester City,” said Fjortoft. “The Barça stuff I think is more propaganda. Maybe it happens in the end but in these moments it’s between two countries and two clubs.”
Xavi was in Munich to speak to Haaland this week but Fjortoft told ESPN: “I have the feeling that Real Madrid are ahead of Barcelona.”
