Barcelona are delighted knowing Philippe Coutinho is back to his best at Aston Villa.
Coutinho only joined Villa in January on-loan to June, but just weeks in he is already rediscovering his best form under manager and former Liverpool teammate Steven Gerrard.
Sport says Barca are delighted, knowing Coutinho’s impact will convince Villa to trigger the €40m option in his deal.
It will mean Barca getting Coutinho’s wages off their books and also adding a hefty fee to their coffers ahead of the summer market.
