Manchester United remain in the Bosman hunt for Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele.
Sport says United are now the ‘favourites’ to sign out-of-contract Barcelona star Dembele this summer.
The Frenchman, who has been linked with a switch to Old Trafford for several seasons, is poised to leave the La Liga giants when his deal expires at the end of the season.
He was at the centre of a contract feud in January and Barcelona wanted him to source a new club. However, Dembele stayed to fight for his place.
He has since won over coach Xavi, though the prospect of Dembele committing to a new deal remains remote.
