Barcelona coach Xavi insists they’re in the title race after victory over Athletic Bilbao.
Barca thumped Athletic 4-0 on Sunday, leaving them 15 points behind Real Madrid, though with a game in hand.
Xavi said: “I have already said that we do not rule out anything. Madrid is strong, Sevilla too. We have to climb positions. With all the humility in the world, to work match by match. And now to prepare for the day of Elche. Nothing more. You have to be humble and keep working.”
Xavi also said of Pedri: “Beyond the pipe, how does he understand the game? Play easy, go between the lines. It’s wonderful to watch him play. He reminds me a lot of Andres (Iniesta).
“He goes one on one. I haven’t seen many talents like this. He makes a difference.”
