Gavi has been one of the big, positive stories for Barcelona and Spain this season – his first as a senior player. The midfielder began the campaign with the B squad before being called up by former Barca coach Ronald Koeman in preseason.
Since then, Gavi hasn’t looked back, becoming a first-choice at 17 years of age and also with Luis Enrique‘s Spain.
Here we see a 12 year-old Gavi, full name Pablo Paez, in action for Barca in Spain’s annual LaLiga Promises tournament, where he had an outstanding tournament.
