Ferran Jutgla joins Barcelona record books with goalscoring debut

Ferran Jutgla joined the Barcelona record books after his debut in victory over Elche.

Jutgla took just 15 minutes to open his account for his club in his first start in Saturday’s 3-2 win over Elche.

After coming on as a substitute in stoppage time at Osasuna last week for his debut, he now becomes the third quickest player to score for the club after Sandro (12 minutes) and Gudjohnsen (13).

The Catalan, who joined from Espanyol this year, only needed 16 minutes to net his first goal for Barça’s first team.

The former Sant Andreu player has previously been important for Sergi Barjuan’s B team, making 15 appearances, scoring four goals and creating four more this season.
