REVEALED: Real Madrid could’ve signed Man City attacker Torres for €8M

Real Madrid have made a past attempt for Manchester City attacker Ferran Torres.

The Spain international is the subject of intense negotiations with Barcelona, which are willing to put €40m cash on the table for the attacker.

However, Torres was close to joining Real when coming through at Valencia, says Mundo Deportivo.

A young Torres even visited the Valdebebas training centre during negotiations. At that time, his VCF contract carried a buyout clause of €8m.

Ultimately, Torres ended up staying with Valencia before being sold to City last year.
