Barcelona coach Koeman held crunch talks with Yuste, Alemany after Granada draw; was told…

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman held talks with directors Rafa Yuste and Mateo Alemany last night after their draw with Granada.

Koeman is fighting to keep his job after last night’s disappointing 1-1 result with Granada at the Nou Camp.

Barca vice-president Yuste and sporting director Alemany met with Koeman after the game, reports Mundo Deportivo, where they assured him that his job was safe.

Koeman was informed he could count on the full support of the board and president Joan Laporta – and that he would remain in charge for Thursday’s game against Cadiz.

For the moment, there are no imminent plans to dismiss Koeman.
