Ilaix Moriba is continuing to train with Barcelona‘s B squad.
Now inside the final year of his contract, Ilaix has been ordered to train with Sergi’s B team until his agents agree to discuss a new deal.
Mundo Deportivo says between yesterday and today a meeting between Ilaix’s agents and Barça was scheduled to unravel the situation, but for the moment there is no progress and the midfielder will continue training under Sergi until further notice.
The message to the youngster is if he doesn’t sign new terms, then he won’t play for the first team this season.
Ilaix’s minders are fielding interest from the likes of Manchester United and Manchester City this summer.
