Barcelona prepared to sell contract rebel Ilaix Moriba

Barcelona are prepared to sell contract rebel Ilaix Moriba this summer.

Marca says the club recently presented the youngster with an offer that would see him earn a lot less than he was expecting. The sum they put to him would have seen him earn the same as other academy players without any first-team experience or without much chance of playing for the first team next season.

Ilaix, as a result, felt a little hurt and disrespected as he had always intended to renew at the club. Now he believes that the club want to sell him.

What surprised Ilaix the most was the speed of Barcelona‘s decision. He received an offer 15 days ago and after rejecting it there was no second proposal made.

The club decided to send him to the B team until he accepts the offer they’ve made. He won’t, though, and will instead be likely to sign for another club this summer.
