Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman wants a new midfielder signed this summer.
While counting on Sergi Busquets for another season, Koeman wants another midfield general added, reports Mundo Deportivo.
Koeman wants a mobile midfielder with a physical presence and doesn’t regard any of his current options as the answer.
The Dutchman has tried Frenkie De Jong, Pedri, Riqui Puig and Ilaix Moriba alongside Busquets, but hasn’t been convinced and instead has requested a new midfield addition from the board for the new season.
Koeman had been counting on Gini Wijnaldum as a solution, but the departing Liverpool ace has since committed to PSG.
