Barcelona president Joan Laporta is ready to stick with coach Ronald Koeman for next season.
Sport says Laporta is happy to go with Koeman after Saturday’s Copa del Rey final triumph against Athletic Bilbao on Saturday.
Laporta had been non-committal over Koeman when running for president, but has since been convinced by the Dutchman’s work.
Along with lifting the Copa, Koeman has also seen Barca’s LaLiga title push strengthened after Real Madrid drew with Getafe on Sunday.
Koeman said on Saturday night, “Any coach who is at Barça knows that it depends on the results and the titles. It is sometimes a little boring because it can change very quickly, but winning a title is important for the team and also for me.”
