New Barcelona president Joan Laporta says he remains in contact with Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola.
However, he insists he will respect the City contract the former Barca coach currently has.
“With Pep? We have a personal relationship, direct, we talk often. But he has a contract right now,” said Laporta.
The president also denied claims he’d spoken with the agents of Bayern Munich defender David Alaba.
He added: “It is not true that I have met with David Alaba‘s representative, we did not discuss this issue.”
