Barcelona coach Koeman admits Pjanic crisis talks; considers Puig situation

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has confirmed crunch talks with Miralem Pjanic.

The midfielder has complained publicly about the lack of action he’s seen so far this season.

And before Barca’s meeting with Real Sociedad tonight, Koeman admitted: “We spoke last week and I told him what he needs to improve.

“I like his attitude. Those who don’t play must be unhappy.”

Koeman was also asked – again – about his management of Riqui Puig after reports of him accusing the youngster of being a mole earlier in the season.

He said, “There is always interest from the press for home players. There are more players who do not play and seek the support of the coach and the press.

“We are a strong squad and only eleven can play. I decide according to training and attitude.”
