Barcelona are actively seeking agreements with the agents of Memphis Depay and Eric Garcia.
Lyon striker Depay and Manchester City defender Garcia were both the subject of failed bids from Barca last summer and remain targets for the January market.
Mundo Deportivo says Barca will push for the pair and aim to secure agreements with Depay and Garcia over contracts. The motivation being that with contracts secured, Barca can negotiate fees with their respective clubs from a position of confidence.
Any signing, however, must first be offset by a sale, which was confirmed earlier this week by interim Barca president Carles Tusquets.
It’s been suggested City will seek to buy Garcia for €8m, with Depay being rated at €10-15m.
