Barcelona fullback Sergino Dest has welcomed their Champions League group draw.
Barca have been grouped with Juventus and Dest is excited by the prospect of facing Cristiano Ronaldo.
Dest told De Telegraaf, “It will be a special moment to play alongside (Lionel) Messi against Cristiano Ronaldo, I hope this moment will be special.
“I will do my best for this club and will try to win all titles such as Champions League and La Liga. I can’t wait to play at Camp Nou with supporters. To be the first American player to play for Barca is an honour for me.
“I encourage all young people to train and work hard so that one day they can play for a club as big as Barcelona.”
He added: “Barcelona are the biggest club in the world. My first few days were very exciting, I met Messi so I’m doing great. Friday morning, after the game against Celta, I met Messi and all the teammates and it was a very special moment, very good.”
