Griezmann camp contacts Barcelona chiefs: Tell Koeman to be positive!

Antoine Griezmann‘s minders are in contact with Barcelona management about the criticism of coach Ronald Koeman.

Koeman was critical of Griezmann after their draw with Sevilla, declaring “he should have scored on at least one of his two actions”.

Mundo Deportivo says Koeman’s words haven’t gone down well with Griezmann nor his camp.

And it’s emerged members of the player’s management team have contacted club directors to request “public support and affection” from Koeman rather than the current criticism.

Also this week, France coach Didier Deschamps said: “I am convinced that he isn’t happy with his current situation at Barcelona.

“If he was to say anything publicly then I don’t think Ronald Koeman would be happy to hear it.

“I don’t want to talk about what happens at clubs, but Griezmann is currently on the right wing, I can’t understand why he isn’t playing in a more central role.”
