Paul Pogba is helping drive Manchester United‘s pursuit of Barcelona attacker Ousmane Dembele, it has been revealed.
Mundo Deportivo says Pogba has been on the phone to Dembele this week urging him to make the move to Old Trafford. Pogba has told Dembele he will settle quickly inside the United dressing room and enjoy playing for manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
United have turned to Dembele after being frustrated in their pursuit of Borussia Dortmund attacker Jadon Sancho.
United are today in talks with Barca about setting up an initial loan arrangement for Dembele. The Catalans are willing to do business, so long as United cover the player’s wages for the season.
