Lyon slash Depay price to bring Barcelona back to table

Lyon are slashing their price for wantaway Memphis Depay.

Barcelona coach Ronald Koeman has made his fellow Dutchman his No1 target to replace Luis Suarez, now of Atletico Madrid.

Talks between the two clubs had stalled earlier this month due to OL’s valuation. However, the French giants have now returned to the negotiating table with a new price.

L’Equipe says OL president Jean-Michel Aulas is prepared to sell for a knockdown €25m – if Barca agree to terms before Friday night. Aulas wants time to find a replacement before the deadline falls on October 5.

Depay’s contract with OL has less than a year to run.
