Wolves begin talks for Barcelona fullback Semedo

Wolves are in talks with Barcelona to sign Portuguese right-back Nelson Semedo.

The defender was disappointing for the Catalan giants last term.

Wolves have an injection of funds since selling Diogo Jota to Liverpool for 40 million pounds.

It appears Semedo is the man that Nuno Espirito Santo wants the club to sign, per the BBC.

The 26-year-old is available and could sign for a fee of roughly £30 million.

It helps that Semedo’s agent is Jorge Mendes, who has strong ties to Wolves.

The club have signed a significant Portuguese contingent in the past few seasons.
