Arthur has returned to Barcelona after his AWOL antics.
The midfielder has been in Brazil after signing for Juventus last month. Arthur hadn’t been considered by coach Quique Setien since the restart and so packed his bags and flew home – though without Barca’s permission.
Arthur wants to be released from his registration immediately and hopes his decision to return to Barcelona will see his request granted.
Barca directors will meet with Arthur and his minders on Saturday to discuss his situation. Arthur is convinced if he were to agree to stay this month, he would still be ignored by Setien during their Champions League run.
