Leicester City have made an ambitious move for Barcelona signing Francisco Trincao.
The Guardian says the Foxes have made a two-year loan offer for Trincao with a £45million obligation to buy clause.
The Braga forward, who is one of Portugal’s most highly regarded youngsters, has not yet kicked a ball for the LaLiga side after agreeing a £28million move to the Nou Camp in January.
Leicester want to take the 20-year-old to the King Power but would face significant competition for his signature.
He has a contract with the Catalans until 2025 and a buyout clause of £452million but could end up leaving before making a senior appearance.
