Departing Braga winger Francisco Trincao says he’s ready to grab his chance with Barcelona.
Trincao is set to arrive in Catalonia at the end of the 2019/20 season, although it’s unclear what the plans are from there with regards to a loan spell.
“When Barcelona signed me, I didn’t know what to say,” Trincao explained to Barcelona‘s official website.
“I had no words, it was a hugely proud moment for myself.
“This is a very important step for me to come and play for Barcelona.”
Having only played in Liga NOS, many supporters won’t be completely clear on how Trincao operates, and thus he sought to explain his style.
“I am very strong mentally, that’s my best quality,” Trincao added.
“I look for goals and to give assists that can help the team.
“I watch back my matches to see what I have done wrong and what I did well, I’m my own benchmark, I would highlight my dribbling ability and hard work.”
