Most surprisingly, Chiesa starts on the bench and is replaced by Venuti, presumably to give Fiorentina a bit more cover defensively. On the opposite wing, Inter loanee Dalbert returns to face his parent club, while another loanee Cutrone is preferred to partner Ribery.
Antonio Conte makes four changes to the side that faced Roma at the weekend. As expected, Lukaku, who grabbed the late equaliser in Rome, replaces Martinez up front. Behind the front two, Eriksen is also preferred over Brozovic. At the back, Bastoni and Skriniar drop out with Godin and D’Ambrosio the men to replace them.
