LIVE: Tottenham vs Leicester

30′ After that spell of Leicester pressure, Spurs have managed to gain a foothold once more, with the home side retaining possession for a few minutes.

27′ There have been 32 own goals this season – exactly the same as last season. The last Premier League campaign to see more was 2016-17, when there were 35.

25′ SAVE! That was a brilliant effort from Perez, who expertly controlled a difficult cross on his chest before unleashing a powerful left-footed volley. Lloris, however, was equal to it, and got down to tip it wide.

24′ Spurs’ opener has now been put down as an own-goal from Justin.

22′ Chance! Morgan’s header falls to Vardy, who thinks quickly and attempts a back heel, but Lloris manages to turn it wide.

20′ CLOSE! Barnes gets down the left and delivers an inviting cross to the near post. Vardy meets it, but Sanchez diverts the forward’s header behind for a corner.

18′ Perez tries to take matters into his own hands for Leicester, standing up Spurs’ defence before getting a shot off from the edge of the area. Alderweireld, however, was on hand to make a block.

16′ Son has been directly involved in eight goals in his last seven Premier League apps against Leicester.

14′ A bit of frustration is evident from Ndidi, as the midfielder lunges in on Son and concedes a free-kick. With Manchester United having a game in hand, there is plenty of pressure on the Foxes today.

12′ Leicester are enjoying a decent spell of possession, but so far have been unable to pick any holes in Spurs’ defence, with the hosts offering plenty of threat on the counter.

10′ Son turns provider with a cross for Alderweireld, but his header is saved by Schmeichel.

8′ Son has now been involved in 10 goals in his last 11 Premier League games. The South Korean has been involved in six of Spurs’ 11 league goals since the restart.

6′ GOOOAAAALLL!!! Tottenham take the lead! Son may well be awarded with this goal, but it took a huge deflection off Justin on its way in. The Spurs winger had got on the end of a pass from Kane, before getting the better of Bennett and getting a shot off, with Justin diverting it beyond Schmeichel.

5′ Tielemans drops in the cross, but Spurs deal with it. Lloris looks to get the hosts away on the counter with a long pass aimed at Sissoko, but the midfielder can’t get it under control.

4′ Clever play from Barnes, who drifts inside from his position on the left and draws a clumsy tackle from Sissoko, with referee Anthony Taylor awarding Leicester a free-kick.

3′ Tottenham have lost just one of their last eight home league games against Leicester, going down 1-0 at White Hart Lane in January 2016.

1′ KICK-OFF! We are up and running at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

The teams are out and kick-off is coming up momentarily.

Likewise, Brendan Rodgers sticks with the Leicester side which won 2-0 against Sheffield United on Thursday. The Foxes will be without key duo James Maddison and Ben Chilwell for their final two matches of the season.

LEICESTER CITY SUBSTITUTES: Demarai Gray, Danny Ward, Kelechi Iheanacho, Hamza Choudhury, Matty James, Nampalys Mendy, Dennis Praet, Darnell Johnson, George Hirst.

LEICESTER CITY (3-4-3): Kasper Schmeichel; Ryan Bennett, Wes Morgan, Jonny Evans; James Justin, Wilfred Ndidi, Youri Tielemans, Luke Thomas; Ayoze Perez, Jamie Vardy, Harvey Barnes.

No changes from Mourinho, who sticks with the same side that defeated Newcastle United 3-1 last time out – Kane and Son getting the goals in that victory.

TOTTENHAM SUBSTITUTES: Jan Vertonghen, Erik Lamela, Ryan Sessegnon, Juan Foyth, Paulo Gazzaniga, Steven Bergwijn, Oliver Skipp, Gedson Fernandes, Japhet Tanganga.

TOTTENHAM (4-3-3-): Hugo Lloris; Serge Aurier, Davinson Sanchez, Toby Alderweireld, Ben Davies; Moussa Sissoko, Harry Winks, Giovani Lo Celso; Lucas Moura, Harry Kane, Son Heueng-Min.

Spurs, meanwhile, need a win to take them up to sixth. Champions League qualification is out of the question for Jose Mourinho’s side, but they are in a battle with Wolves, Sheffield United, Burnley and north-London rivals Arsenal for a place in the Europa League.

With Manchester United and Chelsea in FA Cup action today, Leicester have the chance to restore a three-point gap between themselves and the Red Devils should they win, while a victory would also take them above Frank Lampard’s side into third.
