Barcelona want to sell Ivan Rakitic this summer.
The midfielder is now inside the final year of his contract and Barca have no plans to open talks about a new deal, says Mundo Deportivo.
Instead, Barca wish to sell the experienced midfielder in the coming months.
For his part, Rakitic would prefer a return to Sevilla. And while they’re keen, they do not have the cash available to meet Barca’s €15m asking price.
Barca are adamant the 32 year-old must leave for a set fee this summer.
