Arsenal have made a move for Barcelona goalkeeper Norberto Neto.
Sport says the Gunners made their approach on Tuesday in the aftermath of Bernd Leno’s ankle injury.
Arsenal are looking at Neto, Barca’s back-up stopper. His agent Kia Joorabchian has very good links with the Gunners.
The idea would be a loan with an option to buy but Barca don’t like that. They would accept 20m euros as a transfer fee.
And the Gunners’ interest raises the prospect of a swap involving Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, who is seen at Barca as an alternative to No1 striker transfer target, Inter Milan ace Lautaro Martinez.
