Lautaro Martinez has told Inter Milan he wants to be sold to Barcelona.
The striker is Barcelona‘s No 1 target this summer but the La Liga giants are struggling to meet his £97million release clause.
But Mundo Deportivo says Martinez, who has scored 16 times in 31 games this season, has informed Inter he will reject any new deal offered to him as he has his heart set on moving to the Nou Camp.
Inter are now prepared to accept a cut-price offer of £80m in light of the financial impact coronavirus is having on clubs around the globe.
Barcelona are exploring ways to offer a package worth £80m and are ready to offer players plus cash in exchange for Martinez.
