Mundo Deportivo says would love to sign Lyon wonderkid Cherki, according to reports, but will face competition from Barcelona, Real Madrid and Juventus for his signature.
Cherki has been tipped to follow in the footsteps of Kylian Mbappe in becoming one of France’s most influential players after progressing quickly through the youth ranks with the Ligue 1 side.
The 16-year-old made his senior debut for the club in October 2019 and appeared in the Champions League game against Zenit after netting four goals in one game in the UEFA Youth League.
United would love to bring the youngster to Old Trafford.
However, Real Madrid have first refusal on the wonderkid, with Barcelona and Juventus also monitoring his situation.
