Barcelona presidential candidate Victor Font says the board has the club in a state of decline.
Font stressed that the current board’s era is coming to an end.
“We are in favour of the institutional stability in general,” he told Cope.
“The club’s board shows signs of lacking a project and managing a situation of decline, [as well as] an inertia of the end of an era.”
The recent social media scandal has sparked controversy and Font hopes that investigations will disclose the truth.
“I don’t know what the external audit is looking at,” he noted.
“Journalistic work has given a lot of proof.
“Hopefully the audit will give additional light to the information.
“From there, those responsible will be held accountable.”
