Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has declared Juventus as favourites for this season’s Champions League title.
Holders Liverpool meet Atletico Madrid in the round of 16 this week, but Klopp says it is Juve who are the team to beat.
He said, “Before the season started, my favourite to win the Champions League was Juve. Obviously, I do not watch Italian football enough, because I do not understand why it is not at the top of Serie A with ten points ahead.
“They have the best team I have ever seen in my life, with quality players. It’s crazy. Bayern also have a big team. PSG is amazing when they’re in shape.
“Barça should not be taken lightly and Manchester City should not be forgotten, because the Champions League is one of their greatest goals.”
Juve kickoff their round of 16 tie next week at Lyon.
