Barcelona are ready to splash out on wantaway Chelsea striker Olivier Giroud.
Desperate to find cover for crocked striker Luis Suarez, who is out for four months after knee surgery, Barca are planning to meet Chelsea‘s €15m asking price for veteran Giroud, says Sport.
Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is their first-choice, while Valencia‘s Rodrigo is another being considered. However, Giroud is emerging as the most realistic option given his availability.
Giroud has been in talks with Inter Milan this month, but those negotiations have stalled in recent days as Barca made their interest known.
